Neil Mukesh Nitin Chand Mathur is a famous Indian actor, producer, and screenwriter who was born on January 15, 1982. He is known for his work in Hindi film. He comes from a long line of famous musicians. His father is the famous backup singer Nitin Mukesh, and his grandfather was the famous singer Mukesh.

Neil Nitin Mukesh broke into the movie business as a child, showing off his skills in movies like “Vijay” (1988) and “Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharnii” (1989). However, it was his turn as the lead in “Johnny Gaddaar” (2007) that really made him known as a leading actor.

Neil took a tough four-month workshop at the prestigious Kishore Namit Kapoor performing Institute to improve his performing skills. Additionally, he got helpful advice and training from the experienced actor Anupam Kher. Debut and breakthrough

In 2007, Sriram Raghavan’s suspenseful film “Johnny Gaddaar” was Neil Nitin Mukesh’s first movie role. His performance as a smart crook got good reviews, and he was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Even though it got good reviews, the movie did not do well at the box office.

Following the year, Neil Nitin Mukesh played Major Edwin Rodriques in Vishal Bhardwaj’s “7 Khoon Maaf.” Based on Ruskin Bond’s short story “Susanna’s Seven Husbands,” the movie follows Priyanka Chopra’s character as she goes through several marriages. Mukesh plays her first husband. Even though the movie got mixed reviews and didn’t do well at the box office, Mukesh’s acting as the cocky and possessive army officer got good reviews.

Campaigning for social change

Neil Nitin Mukesh started a non-governmental group (NGO) in 2009 to help women who are struggling. The group, which is named after his grandmother Saral Devi Mathur, helps these women become self-sufficient by giving them food, shelter, and job training. Neil explained why he was doing this charitable work by saying, “I have seen the struggles of women who are abused and exploited, often being treated like goods or forced into prostitution.” I felt compelled to help them by starting a group because hearing their stories hurts me.
